The vessel will built as an ocean going barge of towed type. The barge will be designed for the carriage of oil and petroleum Products with flash point below 60°C and with maximum speciic gravity up to 1,05 tonn/m3.

Machinery Part

1) The vessel to be arranged with three (3) two for two twin screw pumps  for cargo, each driven by two a diesel engine (four - stroke, single ¨Cacting, non-reversible, high speed, heavy duty,  turbocharged type marine diesel engine).

2) The electric generating plant consists of one (1) set of main diesel generator.

3) Auxiliary machinery in engine room to be driven by electric motor.

4) The diesel engines for cargo pumps  and the D/G to be operated on M.D.O.


Speed and main engine

1)At sea trial condition for designed draught , in clam .deep , current less ,

max. wind force of Beaufort 2 and 85% MCR x 1800  rpm , the sea trial speed

shall be about 7.0 kn .

2)Main engine

Type : CATERPILLAR , C18-A .

MCR: 447kw x 1800rpm .

3)Rudder-propeller

Type : FP .

Max. input power : 447kw x 1800 rpm .
